Sliding Scale Rates

 

 

 

 

When you decide to book with me, I want to make it as flexible and comfortable for you as possible. That's why I offer sliding scale pricing, with a minimum, standard, and pay it forward rate. Simply choose the rate that best suits your financial situation and pay what feels right for you. I'll never ask you to justify or explain your choice.


You can feel confident that the payment scale doesn't affect the quality or experience of the photoshoot. Whether you pay more or less, you'll receive the same service and results for your shoot and final edited images.

if you need help deciding

Consider paying less on the scale if you:

  • are a person who experiences discrimination related to systemic oppression
  • are trans and saving for or have debt from gender-affirming surgery
  • have medical expenses not covered by insurance, been denied work, or experience discrimination related to ableism
  • are eligible for public assistance
  • have immigration-related expenses
  • are a sex worker who experiences occupational discrimination
  • are an unpaid community organizer/activist

Consider paying more on the scale if you:


  • own your home or other properties
  • have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money
  • travel recreationally
  • have access to money and resources in times of need
  • work part-time by choice
  • have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education, gender privilege, racial privilege, thin privilege, class background, etc. (Even if you are not currently exercising your earning power, I ask you to recognize this as a choice.)
