I really do love to capture the energy of good people fighting for what they believe in, and that's why you may see me running around local rallies, protests, marches, and other events with my camera. You can see full galleries of these below!

If you frequently march, yell, or hold cool signs at these types of events, you may very well see yourself in some of these shots. Feel free to save the photos for your personal use or share directly from the gallery. I do ask you credit me, Tania Heath of Project Power Back, if you do! Alternatively, if you see yourself in one of these galleries and you aren't comfy about it, please contact me and I'll remove it, no questions asked.

St. John’s is home to a rich, diverse, and vibrant urban Indigenous community. Located on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Beothuk, the lands and waters in and around the City have traditionally served as a gathering place for the Mi’kmaq. The broader region of Newfoundland and Labrador continues to be home to diverse Indigenous Peoples, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. As an uninvited settler to this land, I honour and pay respect to the past, present, and future caretakers of these territories, and am committed to decolonizing myself and unlearning the histories of the colonial gaze and white supremacy.
